QUARTZ

Quartz is a hard, crystalline mineral regarded to be the most powerful & adaptable crystal. Quartz is used to amplify the remarkable qualities of accompanying crystals.

GARNET

Garnet is a silicate mineral most commonly renowned for its beautiful shades of crimson and intense reds.  This stone has been used since the Bronze Age and has been celebrated as the 'stone of health.'  Additionally, garnet is highly regarded to as a stimulating stone, used to 're-balance the sex-drive' and 'alleviate disruptions in emotional harmony.'

GOLDSTONE

Goldstone is a man-made stone with an extremely pleasing sparkling effect that inspires ambition whilst at the same-time, encouraging confidence, courage and self-worth. Goldstone is produced by heating molten glass to a temperature that can dissolve copper oxide granules. As the molten glass is slowly cooled, the Copper ions combine to form octa-hedral copper crystals!

Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic magmatic glass formed as a result of rapidly cooled molten rock. Obsidian can vary in color however is most usually black. Some Obsidian reflects light from tiny crevasses, producing a iridescent effect.

The first known human use of Obsidian has been traced back to the late fifth millennium BC (5000 BC to 4001 BC). Obsidian was highly valued in the Stone Ages as it was relatively easy to produce arrowheads, blades and hunting tools from.

Obsidian is also widely used for spiritual & reiki healing practices. It has traditionally been used for its protective effects - widely considered as a powerful shield against psychic attacks and negativity. Obsidian is also said to release 'emotional blockages' and 'neutralize mental stress and tension.'

TURQUOISE

Historians estimate that turquoise has been mined for over 2,000 years. The early Persians who believed that turquoise represented the heavens, thanks to its unique shade of blue, adorned their palaces and places of worship with the stone. The traditional usage of turquoise has also been prominent within South American tribes. Citrine, a stone with a vibrant history, was known as "yellow quartz" until 1556. History describes the Ancient Greeks using citrine as a decorative gem between 300 - 150 B.C as well as skilled craftsmen using the stone in Scotland to design sword handles, kilt pins and brooches.

Citrine traditionally has been considered the 'bringer of wealth, prosperity and fortune' and brings positive, uplifting energy to both the environment and the wearer.
